📍HOIAN OLDTOWN Hoi An Old Town at Daytime

Hoi An, Vietnam, played an important role in Southeast Asian trade from the 15th to 19th centuries. In 1999, the entire Old Town was registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, proving its cultural value. Even now, you can see hundreds of years old buildings on the streets of the Old Town, which are used by locals as residences or as restaurants, cafes, and shops. Aren't the bright yellow buildings and red flower trees the signature of Hoi An? While exploring restaurants and sightseeing tours are great, just walking around the streets of the Old Town is healing!

The unique atmosphere that can only be felt in Hoi An is so charming that I highly recommend it as a Southeast Asian travel destination. It is about an hour away from Da Nang, Vietnam by car, so it's great to combine it with nearby travel destinations!

A night market opens in the evening, and the night view is spectacular!
