It's the former Sham Shui Po Service Reservoir. Starting from August 1st, you can enter without a reservation, but only 100 people are allowed, on a first-come, first-served basis. Departing from Berwick Street in Sham Shui Po, it takes about 10-15 minutes to walk there. However, there are quite a few stairs, so take your time and be careful not to get heatstroke under the shade of the trees.
If you want to learn more about this century-old building, you can book a free guided tour online. But this time, I decided to explore it on my own without joining a tour. Upon arrival, I saw neatly arranged granite columns, semi-circular arches made of red bricks, and concrete vaulted ceilings, all built in a European style, full of ancient Roman architectural features.
