To be precise, this location is outside the airport maintenance area, so you can often see planes landing. It is also a great place to watch the sunset. I personally think it is one of the most beautiful sunset spots in Hong Kong: the red sun, sunset glow, pier, unbeatable sea view, airplanes, etc. It is really beautiful. Many people come here specifically to take wedding photos or check in, but as it is far away from the city and bus station, you need to reserve more time. It is recommended to ride a bicycle or drive there. It is enough to arrive about an hour before sunset, otherwise you will just have to wait. Kindly note that there is no toilet nearby.
