Take bus number 299X from Shatin Central Bus Terminus and get off at Shui Lang Wo Station. After getting off the bus, we walked along Sai Sha Road towards Sai Kung, passing Shui Lang Wo Observatory, but we did not go up. Instead, we continued walking forward and the Qi Ling BBQ site opposite the public toilet was the starting point.
Check-in attractions:
Bamboo Forest: It feels like the bamboo forest in Arashiyama, Japan!
The top of Crooked Hill: The view is super spectacular, as the mountain trails twist and turn like snakes, plus you can enjoy a 360-degree view of Sai Kung, Ma On Shan, Admiralty and Sharp Island.
However, the downhill section is extremely steep and contains a lot of gravel, so it is an intermediate hiking route. It is recommended that you wear long pants and non-slip hiking shoes, and consider your own physical strength, after all, it will take four to five hours.
