Weijiang Village is located in Shajiang Town, over 30 kilometers south of Xiapu County. It's also known as Mantou Mountain because of a protruding island reef in the sea that resembles a steamed bun. The vast mudflats here, extending into the horizon, are breathtakingly beautiful, making them a perfect spot for photographing sunrises and sunsets. It's also a great spot for capturing scenes of fishing, such as kelp harvests, boats on the mudflats, and the morning scene of oyster hanging.
The beauty of Weijiang lies before dawn and between the tides. To capture its breathtaking scenery, you must rise early and stay awake until dusk, capturing both morning and evening. Mantou Mountain, surrounded by the sea, is surrounded by water at high tide, while at low tide, a vast expanse of mudflats is exposed nearby. From a high vantage point, the view reveals distinct layers of scenery, interspersed with bamboo poles. As the sun rises in the east, the sea shimmers a vibrant crimson. Fishing boats, egrets, and fishermen venturing out to sea fill the vast expanse with life. At low tide, the road leading to Mantou Mountain becomes visible, resembling the smudges of ink in a Chinese painting.
