"Spectrum of Heroes" Pat Lee Comic Art Exhibition @ Harbour City

"Spectrum of Heroes" Pat Lee Comic Art Exhibition, presented by internationally renowned North American comic artist and former Marvel and DC hero comic writer Pat Lee, has officially opened at Harbour City! Pat also appeared at the opening event and brought a 30-minute live painting performance, creating a work called "Defragment", allowing the audience to appreciate his creative process firsthand. The exhibition will be on display at Harbour City Gallery from March 20 to April 21, 2025. The public, especially comic fans and art lovers, are sincerely invited to come and enjoy it.

One of the highlights of the exhibition is the 20 original black-and-white comic art manuscripts created by Pat, covering his wonderful works from 1995 to the present. Among them are important collections of Marvel and DC comics series, including classic works such as "BATMAN: Journey Into Knight", "BATMAN/SUPERMAN", "The Invincible Iron Man" and "Marvel Knights: Spider-Man". Each work is not only extremely precious, but also showcases Pat's exquisite and delicate brushstrokes, vividly presenting the characters and stories of the comics. This series further highlights the evolution of Pat's comic art over the years, inviting everyone to explore his rich and wonderful creative journey in depth.

This time, Pat teamed up with his brother Roger Lee to create a joint work that perfectly combines Pat's unique comic art style and Roger's famous quotes. Roger has always been passionate about creating inspiring words that motivate people to strive to be the best version of themselves. The black and white ink drawing depicts a superhero free from his chains, ready to take on a challenge, with the quote: "For every storm that passes, a stronger you is born." Through this collaborative work, Pat hopes to encourage viewers to tap into their own inner strength and inspire them to overcome challenges in life and become stronger and more resilient.

In addition to displaying original comic art works, the exhibition also has a comic reading area. Pat carefully selected 12 comic books for everyone to immerse in comic works and take a look at his iconic characters and wonderful stories

In addition, other comic books are displayed in the exhibition to give everyone a deeper understanding of Pat’s diverse creations and appreciate the transformation of original comic art into published books. Some of the comic books are even printed with special chrome reflective covers for a more outstanding visual effect.

In addition to drawing comics, Pat also displays his artistic talent on games and toy products. The exhibition features a 2007 collector’s edition Monopoly board game, with the game packaging featuring Pat’s Transformers comic illustrations, highlighting how comic art enriches pop culture and the close connection between games and comic art. You can also enjoy a batch of retro Transformers TAKARA toys that were re-released in 2002, and the illustrations on the packaging of these toys are all created by Pat.

Pat also brought art prints from his new comic series "7th BLADE". As a new project developed in collaboration with the creative unit Secret Lab, it also perfectly presents his unique comic art style, bringing refreshing works to fans and allowing them to once again explore Pat's art world in depth.
