The Unification of the World: Shaanxi Qin and Han Civilization Exhibition

Yesterday, I finally had the chance to visit the Shaanxi Qin and Han Civilization Exhibition at the Hong Kong Museum of History. The last similar exhibition in Hong Kong was 13 years ago, titled "The Unification of the World: The Eternal Kingdom of Emperor Qin Shi Huang," making this a very rare opportunity.

The focus of this exhibition is on three Qin terracotta warriors classified as national first-class cultural relics, including the highest-ranking senior military officer terracotta warrior from the Qin Terracotta Army and the kneeling archer terracotta warrior whose armor still retains its original red paint. At the same time, the Han Dynasty animal pottery figurines unearthed from Hanyangling in Shaanxi Province are also very vivid and adorable.

The exhibition runs from April 16 to July 7, with free admission and no need for advance booking. Highly recommended for all visitors to Hong Kong and history enthusiasts. You can walk about 10 minutes to the museum from Hung Hom Station on the MTR East Rail Line, Tsim Sha Tsui Station on the Tsuen Wan Line, or East Tsim Sha Tsui Station on the Tuen Ma Line.
