A while ago, a YouTuber introduced this restaurant for its $10 skewers. In the Central area, skewers at $10 each are quite a bargain, so we came to dine. It turns out the restaurant offers a wide variety of food choices, including skewers, salads, snacks, mains, and desserts. This time, we ordered some dishes from almost every category.
At first, I thought the $10 skewers wouldn’t be of great quality, but the salt-grilled Spanish pork belly was surprisingly tender and bouncy, with a slightly charred aroma.
The black truffle grilled chicken liver wasn’t dry and had a rich black truffle fragrance.
The salt-grilled chicken thigh 🍗 was tender and juicy.
The chicken diaphragm is quite special and not a common ingredient. The meat is firm with a bit of chewiness and a fragrant fatty aroma.
The caramel pineapple 🍍 foie gras toast’s foie gras mousse was smooth and delicate. The juicy caramel pineapple made the foie gras feel less greasy, making it a perfect match.
The cuttlefish paste with seaweed and large prawns 🍤 was a thoughtful creation. The seaweed wrapped the bouncy cuttlefish 🦑 paste and large prawns, coated with a thin batter layer, fried to a crispy golden perfection.
The coriander 🌿 shredded chicken hand-grabbed pancake 🫓 is a must-order for coriander lovers! The pancake is crispy on the outside and soft inside, filled with lots of coriander, giving a refreshing taste. The shredded chicken is slightly spicy and very flavorful.
Among all the dishes, my favorite is the Hong Kong-style honey toast with ice cream 🍦. The toast is drenched in honey 🍯 and very fluffy. The hot, freshly baked toast paired with a scoop of frozen ice cream creates a perfect hot-and-cold sensation, the ultimate delight for the taste buds 😋.
