When summer arrives, the glass sea at Sai Kung Kiu Tsui Island is stunningly beautiful! Just a 10-minute ferry ride away, no reservation needed, and the round trip is only $30—such a great deal! Enjoy hiking, snorkeling, and photo ops all in one trip!
📍Must-try route:
After getting off the boat, head to Kiu Tsui Beach on the left side of the pier. The sand is fine and the water shallow, perfect for kids! Then hike 500 meters along the geological trail, where you can see volcanic breccia and rhyolite, and snap photos of the sandbar connecting the islands and the giant "Pineapple Bun" rock!
Now for the snorkeling highlight! Beyond the sandbar, the water is very calm, so beginners don’t need to worry. Swim out 20 meters to see the cross peony coral group, and along the shore, there are brain corals and pillar corals. Colorful fish swimming around is super soothing!
🚍Transportation Tips:
Buses and minibuses run directly to Sai Kung Pier from Sha Tin, Diamond Hill, Choi Hung, and Hang Hau—super convenient!
⚠️Friendly Reminder:
Please take your trash with you and don’t kick the coral when you’re in the water! Quickly gather your friends and snorkeling gear, and enjoy the great weather for a refreshing dip!
