Hong Kong Park is located on the site of the former Victoria Barracks. In 1979, part of the mid-level area was handed over to the former Urban Council and the former Royal Hong Kong Jockey Club for the development of the park. Situated near Pacific Place, it’s about a 10-minute walk to this lush green park. The man-made ponds and flowing streams bring a refreshing vibe. It’s also close to the Zoological and Botanical Gardens and the Peak Tram. For photo opportunities, check out the Fountain Plaza, Clock Tower, Artificial Lake, Conservatory, and Aviary. For indoor visits, you can explore the Flagstaff House Museum of Tea Ware and the Hong Kong Visual Arts Centre. If you’re bringing kids, there’s also a children’s playground.
