I was staying in Sai Kung for a staycation in early October. I ordered takeout from two restaurants in the evening. The Thai restaurant was crowded with people and had to queue up, but the food was very ordinary. On the contrary, the quiet and cold hot and sour noodle shop was a surprise.
Location: In the alley of Sai Kung Seafood Street.
Environment: The hot and sour noodle shop is very small and can basically only accommodate one person to buy things. Although the Thai restaurant can be eaten in, the environment is very narrow and crowded. It is recommended to order takeout!
Service: Only takeout is provided.
Dinner: 🥢Hangry Hot and Sour Noodles (Chicken) $45
The price is very reasonable in Saigon, 👍🏻The portion is larger than expected and the noodles are adequate, including potato noodles, shredded chicken, black fungus, pickles, etc. The taste is indeed spicy and sour, with a very rich soup base, good value and delicious😋
🐄Beef and 🐓Chicken Skewers $40 ($15 per skewer)
The meat is not overcooked and tough, but the point is that the sauce is not fragrant enough, not as good as the Thai skewers at Longmenju, 😅I really don’t understand why so many people are queuing!
