The museum's porcelain collection is nationally renowned for the two batches of Yuan Dynasty porcelain treasures unearthed from its cellars; the calligraphy and painting collections include albums by Gu Daoren of the Xin'an School, landscape paintings by Huang Binhong, Ming Dynasty Lin Liang Zhongtang, Zha Shibiao Xingshu Tang, Chen Jiayan's plum blossom and white-headed scrolls, and other fine works; the inkstones include Tang-style She inkstones and Wang Tingne's inscribed She inkstones.

Among the cultural relics in the museum's collection, there are 74 first-class national cultural relics , 193 second-class national cultural relics, and 1,424 third-class national cultural relics identified by national and provincial cultural relics departments , while some items have yet to be identified.
