After more than 4 years, Madam Hong Cafe located in the Hong Kong Museum of Coastal Defence has officially reopened!
Hong Kong Services Limited, a social enterprise under the Fu Hong Society, has been operating the "Auntie Hong Café" at the Hong Kong Museum of Coastal Defence.
Due to typhoon damage and the museum's renovation work, the coffee shop has been closed since 2018.
After several years, the coffee shop was relocated to the upper level of the Fortress Exhibition Hall on the 8th floor of the museum and officially opened to the public in November last year.
The coffee shop is themed on simplicity, leisure and slow life, which is combined with the beautiful scenery of the Hong Kong Museum of Coastal Defence, which is backed by mountains and faces the sea.
In a comfortable and inclusive dining environment, we provide guests with a variety of snacks, coffee, drinks and other light meals.
Auntie Kang's Café has a total of 62 seats and is operated by a team of professional chefs and a group of disabled employees.
While enjoying delicious food, it also creates jobs for people with disabilities and supports social inclusion, creating a win-win situation for the society. It is of great significance!
