Ancient Village At The Foot Of Mt. Huangshan

Stopped by this breathtakingly beautiful village before my trip to Mt. Huangshan — it’s literally the ancient village in Chinese paintings. This 900-years old village is called Hongcun. It’s so quiet and peaceful there, definitely one of the best historic sites I’ve ever been to.

If you’re planning a hike to Mt. Huangshan, I highly recommend you to stop by and take a stroll around Hongcun. Hiring a local tour guide would also be a good idea if you want to learn more about this village that has been listed as one of UNESCO World Heritage Sites!
