【Introduction】: Guangsheng Temple is located at the southern foot of Mount Huo in Hongtong County, Linfen City, Shanxi Province. It is renowned for the "Three Wonders of Guangsheng," namely the Feihong Pagoda, the Zhaocheng Jin Cang (Zhaocheng Gold Sutra), and the Yuan Dynasty murals in the Water God Temple. The Feihong Pagoda is the most exquisite and well-preserved glazed pagoda in China, with its body adorned with yellow, green, and blue glazed tiles that reflect a rainbow of colors under sunlight. The Zhaocheng Jin Cang is one of the earliest and most complete printed editions of the Buddhist canon in China, holding immense historical and cultural value. The Yuan Dynasty murals in the Water God Temple are rich in content, covering opera, folk customs, and daily life, serving as vital material for studying Yuan Dynasty social life and theater history. In 1942, monks of Guangsheng Temple, along with local patriots, successfully transported the Zhaocheng Jin Cang to the revolutionary base with the help of the Taiyue Military District of the Eighth Route Army, preventing it from being looted or destroyed by Japanese forces. Additionally, the 1986 TV adaptation of "Journey to the West" filmed the "Sweeping the Pagoda to Solve the Mystery" episode here.
