Alone, I took a trip to Ulan Maodu, toasting to freedom

Alone, I took a trip to Ulan Maodu, toasting to freedom!
Some roads are meant to be traveled alone. Some scenery can only truly echo when you are by yourself. This autumn, I drove to Ulan Maodu for a grand reconciliation with myself.

No companions, no compromises, no plans. The wind guided my direction; when tired, I parked the car by the roadside, facing endless golden waves rolling with the wind. Opening the window, the breeze mixed with the scent of sunshine and dry grass instantly penetrated my body, as if carrying away all the heaviness piled up in my heart.

I climbed the famous "Grassland Swiss Roll" alone. Sitting at the highest point, the world was so quiet that only the sound of the wind remained. At that moment, I didn’t feel lonely; instead, I felt an unprecedented sense of completeness and freedom. This vast land seemed like a huge embrace, telling you: you can be vulnerable, you can empty your mind, you can be your truest self.

Here, I thought of nothing, yet it felt like I understood everything.
This trip was not to meet anyone, but to rediscover the part of myself forgotten by busy life, the part longing for freedom, amidst the endless golden fields. To this grassland, and to every brave soul who ventures out.
