⛱️ Must-Visit Attractions:
• North-South Dividing Line Sculpture: Located in Longzi Lake West Park, designed by Han Meilin, red and blue steel pipes mark north and south, bronze pearls highlight the "Pearl City" feature. Great for daytime landmark photos and evening light shots. Free parking within 2 hours.
• Qiyan Temple: Han Dynasty ancient temple built on a mountain like a "small Hanging Temple," red walls and glazed tiles are photogenic. A trail behind the mountain leads to a reservoir with wide views. Drawing lots requires extra fee and vague interpretation; better to just enjoy the scenery and pray.
• Chentangguan Ruins Park: Nezha IP site, stone sculptures of wind-fire wheels and red silk for the cosmic ring are perfect for Hanfu photos. Evening lighting creates a great atmosphere. Free entry, no reservation needed.
• Zhanggongshan Park: Climb Wanghuai Tower for panoramic views of the Huai River and city. Under the tower, try the Nezha collaboration ice cream (mango flavor recommended). Boat rides on the lake (electric or manual) are available, great experience when the weather is cool.
• Bengbu Museum: Free with reservation, cool and refreshing inside, you can get a stamp (small purchase required), remember to bring your stamp book.
🍜 Food Guide:
• Little Lobster: Must-try at Amu Lobster and Luopangzi Lobster, classic thirteen-spice flavor; Acai Old Shop’s braised crayfish with rice cakes, 60-80 RMB per person for lobster freedom.
• Specialty Snacks:
◦ Sesame Seed Cake with Pork Tenderloin: Qizhong Hanji is an old shop, crispy cake and fragrant pork tenderloin, filling under 10 RMB.
◦ Ice Rice Wine: Weiwei’s classic ice rice wine, cold and fragrant with alcohol aroma, 5-8 RMB per cup, perfect for cooling down.
◦ Xueyuan Snacks: Wontons with thin skin and lots of meat, fresh soup; four-color glutinous rice balls are sweet, avoid if you don’t like sweet, about 15 RMB per person.
◦ Gan Kou Noodles: Sangu Mianshe’s beef and beef tripe combo, generous and affordable, avoid peak hours, 15-20 RMB per bowl.
• Drinks & Desserts: Kawangka Huizhou rice wine and osmanthus yogurt recommended; Liji oil tea with Baixiu Gang beef box, savory and tasty, good for breakfast or snack.
🏨 Accommodation Guide:
• Near Yintai City: Concentrated dining (lobster and Kawangka here), 10-15 minutes by taxi to Longzi Lake and Zhanggongshan, hotels 150-300 RMB/night, chain brands offer good value, top choice for foodies.
• Around Train Station/Bengbu South Station: Convenient transport, good for catching high-speed trains, hotels 100-200 RMB/night, a bit farther from some attractions, about 20 minutes taxi to Zhanggongshan.
• Avoid Pitfalls: Choose hotels within 5 minutes walk to public electric scooters, yellow scooters lose power outside operating area, better to buy a riding card for cost savings.
💗 Other Tips:
1. Transport: Take high-speed train to Bengbu South Station, city mainly uses public electric scooters (day pass about 10 RMB), taxi starting fare 6 RMB, save Yiwu Trade City for last day for easy return.
2. Photos: Wear plain or new Chinese style at Qiyan Temple, Hanfu at Chentangguan, shoot sunset backlight photos at Longzi Lake after 4 PM, bring a power bank.
3. Avoid Pitfalls: Acai Old Shop is good for photos, eat at Amu or Luopangzi; focus on Xueyuan at Flower and Bird Market, low entertainment value; Qiyan Temple parking lot is a 15-minute walk to temple, wear comfortable shoes.
