The streets and alleys of Huanglongxi Ancient Town are home not only to teahouses and ancient buildings, but also to a small perfumery studio. Pushing open the wooden door, you're greeted not by the smoke of tea, but by wisps of delicate aroma.

Glass bottles hold the scents of flowers, woods, fruits, and herbs; essential oils and incense sticks scattered on the table speak a different language of the ancient town. The perfumer works quietly, piecing together layer upon layer of scent, like weaving an invisible poem.

Sitting inside, listening to the sound of the river outside the window, I suddenly felt: These aromas, like the gurgling waters of Huanglongxi and the bluestone slabs of the ancient streets, are witnesses of time. Scents are invisible, yet they reach the heart, like a silent journey.
