At the foot of Mount Huangshan is the ancient village of Xixinan, which has a history of more than 1,200 years. The Weiyan Mansion was rebuilt on the Xinan Academy, and 12 ancient buildings from the Ming and Qing dynasties were rebuilt on the original site. These Huizhou-style buildings, which are scattered in an orderly manner, seem to tell the story of the prosperity of ancient Huizhou.
