4 Days 3 Nights in Huangshan | After reading this, just set off directly

🌙Day 1: Arrive in Huangshan, relax and recharge

- After arriving at Huangshan North Station, take a 15-minute taxi to Tangkou Town (staying here is most convenient for sightseeing). Choose a homestay with a balcony, drop off your luggage, and take a good rest first.

- In the evening, stroll around Tangkou Town and try some local delicacies. The freshly baked Meigan vegetable biscuit must be eaten hot, paired with a bowl of Huizhou wontons—both heartwarming and satisfying.

- Buy your Huangshan entrance tickets and cable car tickets for the next day in advance on the "Huangshan Tourism Official Platform." Remember to set your alarm for 5:30 AM (you’ll know why later).

⛰️Day 2: Full day tour of Huangshan, encounter the sea of clouds

- Take the Yungu Cableway up the mountain at 7 AM, and head straight to Shixin Peak! The early morning sunlight filtering through the pine needles creates a soft natural filter for photos—super photogenic.

- At noon, order a bowl of stone ear mushroom stewed chicken noodles at Beihai Hotel to recharge. In the afternoon, visit the West Sea Grand Canyon. Remember to turn on your phone’s video when taking the mountain rail cable car; the mist will suddenly roll in, creating a very poetic scene.

- Wait for the sunset at Bright Summit Peak in the evening. The golden sunlight shines on Lotus Peak, and the air is filled with the fresh scent of pine resin.

- Take the Yuping Cableway down before 5 PM. After returning to Tangkou Town, soak your feet to relieve the day’s fatigue—it’s so comfortable you won’t want to move.

🏡Day 3: Stroll through Hongcun + breathe in the bamboo sea

- Take a taxi to Hongcun at 9 AM (about 1 hour drive), no need to rush early! Around 10 AM, the sunlight on Moon Pond reflects the white walls and black tiles beautifully—every photo looks like an ink painting.

- For lunch, go to "Deyuelou" to try the local specialty stinky mandarin fish, paired with a bottle of Huangshan beer to cut the richness and refresh your palate.

- In the afternoon, head to Mukeng Bamboo Sea (20 minutes from Hongcun by car). Walk along the bamboo forest trail and listen to the wind rustling through the bamboo leaves. This is a filming location for "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon," perfect for ethereal photos.

- Stay overnight in a homestay in Hongcun, watching the lanterns by Moon Pond slowly light up, as if you are inside a traditional ink painting.

🚶Day 4: Explore the mysterious caves + visit the ancient city, then return easily

- Head to Huashan Miku before 8 AM (1 hour drive from Hongcun). Walk along the riverside plank road to admire the stone caves, and take a boat into Cave No. 35. The stalactites under the interplay of light and shadow look like a mysterious secret realm.

- At noon, visit Huizhou Ancient City. Enter through Renhe Tower, buy a stone cake as a snack, and take ancient-style photos in front of Xuguo Stone Archway—great for high-quality shots.

- Finish touring the ancient city by 2 PM and go directly from Huizhou Ancient City to the high-speed rail station (40 minutes by car). You can buy a bag of Huimo Su (ink pastry) as a souvenir.

✨Lazy Tips

- Don’t skimp on Huangshan’s cable cars! Save your energy for a more relaxed visit to the ancient villages later.

- Hongcun tickets are valid for 3 days; it’s recommended to stay one night to fully enjoy the village’s charm.

- Prioritize taxis or carpooling for transportation; it can save you an hour compared to transferring by bus.

In 4 days, you can enjoy both the natural wonders of Huangshan and the charm of Huizhou-style ancient villages. The pace is just right—not rushed and not tiring at all~
