Fellow travelers, I've discovered another designer homestay transformed from an old concession-era villa in Hankou! The authentic vintage charm shows how much effort went into creating this space - it's absolutely worth it 🥺 Experience the ambiance of Republican-era Hankou right in your accommodation, complete with a record player, retro windows, bathtub, French fireplace, European-style bed, along with a bar cart and imported liquors. The view of historic concession buildings outside the windows makes for incredible photo opportunities 😍

Located by Hankou Riverside, the homestay is close to Jianghan Road, Lihuangpi Road, Shanhaiguan Road, and Guiyuan Temple! Surrounded by former residences of historical figures and ancient architecture, strolling through the area offers strong immersive vibes. The entrance is via a residential building staircase - somewhat hard to find and inconspicuous, but following the host's provided route map makes it easy to locate~

We stayed in the "Red-crowned Crane" room, featuring a design theme based on the crane with European vintage and black-white contrast elements - visually stunning! The elongated layout connects bedroom and bathroom via a corridor, with multiple windows offering great views 👍🏻 Room amenities include refrigerator, dual AC units, portable display TV, large sofa, crystal chandelier, premium bedding, and high-quality disposables (even the complimentary mineral water is upscale). The foldable table converts for chess games, and most surprisingly - the record player actually works with multiple vinyl records and Bluetooth connectivity!

The bathroom is spotless with smart toilet (disposable seat covers provided) and bathtub (comes with liner for worry-free soaking 😍). Both toiletries and towels include disposable options! The unique toothbrush cups and drinking glasses are particularly charming, and the sunset lighting effect above the bathtub creates perfect photo backdrops! The attention to detail is remarkable.
