If you can't live on Mount Huangshan, you can choose to go up the mountain a second time.

We took the high-speed train to Huangshan North Station. After exiting, turn right and walk about 5 minutes to the bus station. The bus takes about 40 minutes to the South Gate, where we stayed.

The Huangshan Scenic Area ticket allows for two entrances to the mountain. On the first day, we took the Yungu Cableway up and the Yuping Cableway down. On the second day, we took the Taiping Cableway up and the Yuping Cableway down. Of course, you had to pay for the cableway and bus fares again for the second day.

Note for those who want a second entrance to the mountain‼ ️ Within three days of the first use of your ticket (the first use being the first day), you must go to the free ticket processing counter at the Huangshan Scenic Area South Gate Ticket Reservation Office or the North Gate Ticket Service Counter to complete the second entrance free ticket processing in person. Note‼ ️ The service counter has business hours and cannot process requests outside of business hours!

We decided to make a second entrance to the mountain because we simply couldn't fully enjoy it on one trip, and even then, it was the same. Furthermore, accommodations on the mountain are expensive and hard to book.
