Shuidong Street is located east of Huizhou Bridge, running east-west. It connects to Huixin West Street in the east, intersecting with Shuidong South Road, and Dongxin Bridge in the west. It is 730 meters long and 14-18 meters wide.

The short 700-meter-long street presents three aspects: one side is brand new antique buildings, one side is the ruins of houses after demolition, and the other side is the vicissitudes of the old street.

The arcade buildings along Shuidong Street have the unique cultural style of Huizhou. This prosperous street with a combination of Chinese and Western styles is also the birthplace of Huizhou city.

The renovated Shuidong Street retains the original street and architectural texture, creating a historical commercial pedestrian street by enriching the experience format.
