Sanmen Island Travel Guide

Sanmen Island is located in Daya Bay, Huiyang District, Huizhou City. It is one of the best-preserved natural islands in China.
Attractions

• Moon Bay and Baisha Bay Beach: Known as the "Little Saipan Island" of Guangdong, the beach is soft and the bay is beautiful, perfect for enjoying the sun and sand.

Itinerary

• Day 1: Depart from Dongchong Wharf in Shenzhen, take a speedboat for 15 minutes to Sanmen Island, and buy a ticket for CNY 20 to enter the scenic area. After arriving, go to the reserved hotel or homestay to check in, and after a short rest, go to Moon Bay Beach to play, where you can experience snorkeling, paddle surfing, and other activities. In the evening, enjoy the sunset by the sea, and then go for a seafood feast. At night, you can camp on the beach and have a BBQ, sing, chat, and play games.

• Day 2: Get up early to climb Lovers' Peak to watch the sunrise and enjoy the beautiful island sunrise. After breakfast, continue to play paddle boards and snorkeling on the island, or go hiking through the jungle and explore the air-raid shelter. Pack your luggage at noon and take a speedboat back to Dongchong Wharf.
