⛱️ Just a 2-hour drive from Guangzhou or Shenzhen, or take a direct high-speed train! Most attractions are free and concentrated in the city center.
📍Huizhou Science Museum
Embark on a magical science journey with your kids, featuring immersive interactive experiences that make learning fun. Parking costs only 5 yuan per visit—great value! Open 9:30 AM - 4:30 PM, closed Mondays and Tuesdays.
📍Huizhou West Lake
The lake area is vast, so bring a scooter for the little ones. Recommended route: Feng Lake Academy → Sizhou Pagoda → Dongpo Garden → Nine-Turn Bridge → Yuanmiao Ancient Temple → North Gate → Pinghu Gate → Feng Lake Academy. Park at Feng Lake Academy lot for just 5 yuan.
📍Dongping Kiln Ceramic Cultural Park
Discover Huizhou’s millennia-old pottery history, where ancient kiln techniques are still preserved. The Hui-style architecture adds timeless charm. A bit farther from downtown but worth the trip for cultural immersion.
📍Hejiang Tower & Shuidong Street
Snap photos at Hejiang Tower and stroll along Shuidong Street’s commercial area. Food highlights: Xingji’s fresh sugarcane juice (kids love it!); Zhu Ji’s "A Ma Jiao" (radish-stuffed fritters); Longyuan Breakfast Shop’s authentic, affordable rice rolls and congee.
