Hurawalhi is famous for its underwater restaurant, and it absolutely lived up to the hype — dining surrounded by marine life was surreal. My overwater villa was modern and luxurious, with endless views of the ocean. The island itself is beautifully maintained, and the house reef is alive with coral and fish. The staff were warm without being overly formal, and the spa offered treatments in glass-floored rooms where you could watch fish swim below. A stunning, one-of-a-kind resort.
