Red Sea Escape: My Visit to Hurghada

Hurghada was my perfect gateway to sun, sea, and relaxation. Located on Egypt’s Red Sea coast, it offered a mix of resort comfort and colorful underwater adventures. I stayed at a beachside hotel with direct access to crystal-clear waters and vibrant coral reefs. One of the highlights was a snorkeling trip — I saw schools of tropical fish, coral gardens, and even a curious sea turtle.

I also took a boat trip to Giftun Island, where the white sand and turquoise sea felt almost unreal. In the evenings, I explored the Marina Boulevard, full of restaurants and shisha lounges, and enjoyed fresh seafood with a view of the yachts.

For a change of scenery, I visited the old town (El Dahar), wandered through its markets, and tasted local Egyptian dishes. Hurghada surprised me with its relaxed vibe, friendly people, and endless blue horizons — an ideal destination for both rest and discovery.
