Titanic Resort & Aquapark, Hurghada

We stayed at Titanic Resort & Aquapark Hurghada for two weeks in May 2024, and it was one of those holidays that gave us both incredible memories and a few lessons learned.

The main reason we chose it was the huge on-site waterpark — it’s genuinely impressive, with slides for every age, a lazy river, and shallow splash areas perfect for younger kids. The size of the resort is enormous, and you definitely feel that sense of fun, energy, and “resort life” as soon as you arrive. Our kids loved being able to spend entire days darting between the pools and slides, and there were always lifeguards around which made it feel safe and well-managed.

The family room was spacious and kept cool with good air conditioning. They added a 5th rolling bed as there were 5 of us, but our youngest was just a baby so was always beside a parent anyway. Housekeeping was friendly and tried hard to please. We thought our room attendant was just amazing and we left him a gift when we left. That said, the rooms are dated — clean enough on the surface but showing their age, with furniture and fixtures that could use a refresh.

Food-wise, there’s plenty of choice, but it can feel repetitive after a few days. It worked for our autistic children to have fries available every day. The main buffet is huge, but like many all-inclusive resorts, the focus is on quantity more than variety. We found a few favourites and stuck with them. The snack bars by the pools were handy for quick bites during the day, and the kids loved the ice cream station.

The evening entertainment was fun for families, but we honestly attended about 2 things and the other nights we stayed in the room because the chaos of loud music and lots of people doesn't work for our family. If you’re after quiet nights, ask for a room away from the main stage area — ours was fairly close, so the music carried until late.

Location-wise, it’s about 20 minutes from Hurghada airport, which makes the transfer easy. There’s not a huge amount around the resort itself, but taxis or tours can take you into town or on boat trips easily enough. The nearby mall has McDonald’s which was a hit with our kids.

Overall, Titanic Resort & Aquapark is a brilliant choice for families who want guaranteed sunshine, endless water fun, and an easy all-inclusive experience. Just go expecting a lively, slightly dated resort rather than sleek luxury, and you’ll have a fantastic time.
