Ong Kee is located at 48, 51/53, Jalan Yau Tet Shin, Taman Jubille, 30300 Ipoh, and is opened daily from 1000-2130.
Chicken rice is one of the most famous foods in Ipoh, around this area, there are a number of shops selling this dish, some with cha siew and roast pork, some did not have.
Ong Kee, they only sell chicken, with additional bean sprouts, kidney and liver, meat and fish ball soup. I ordered a chicken dumpstick rice and a mixture of fish and meatball soup.
The food is served, they put it together without the bean sprouts 😞, the oil rice tastes nice, the chicken is smooth and juicy. The fish and meatball soup was also good, the soup had a bit of sweet taste in it.
