The best resort on Ishigaki Island ANA InterContinental Ishigaki

ANA InterContinental Ishigaki is located in Shinei-ri, between Ishigaki Airport and downtown Ishigaki. It is about a 20-minute drive from the airport and a 10-minute drive from downtown.

Although the hotel is not in the city, there is Ishigaki Donki nearby, about a 12-15 minute walk. There are also a lot of restaurants within walking distance, which are all worth visiting.

We stayed in the Sea View Suite that day, which was located on the top floor of the hotel. The new wing was not completed at that time, so the suite was the second most luxurious room in the hotel. The room is very large and you can see the unobstructed beautiful view as soon as you open the door. There is a very large jacuzzi on the terrace. There are no buildings as tall as the hotel nearby, and this suite is on the highest floor, so you can take a bath in peace.

There are many facilities in the hotel. In addition to the general swimming pool and the nearby beach, the most recommended one is the large bathing area. The large public bath is very large, similar to that of an ordinary hot spring hotel. Although it is probably not hot spring water, it is indeed very comfortable to soak in it.

The hotel restaurant is not expensive. If you do not want to dine in the restaurant, you can choose a time to take the bus to a nearby restaurant/city area for dinner. Taxis are also not expensive and are also a good option.

The hotel is very satisfying and highly recommended.
