Shanghai Grand View Garden, located at 701 Qingshang Road , Qingpu District, Shanghai, sits on the west side of Dianshan Lake, 65 kilometers from downtown Shanghai . Formerly known as the Dianshan Lake Scenic Area, it was later renamed Shanghai Grand View Garden and is a five-star park in Shanghai.

Shanghai's Grand View Garden is a large-scale replica of an ancient garden based on the famous Qing Dynasty novel "Dream of the Red Chamber." The garden complex was planned and designed by Liang Yousong of the Shanghai Academy of Landscape Architecture. The overall layout is centered on the Grand View Tower, with the stone archway of the " Visiting Relatives Villa , " stone lanterns, Qinfang Lake, the Tiren Mude Temple, winding paths, the palace gate, the " Illusionary Realm " relief screen, and the wooden archway forming the central axis of the garden.

The Grand View Garden cleverly utilizes the traditional Chinese architectural concept that a garden must be enclosed and separated, seeking to achieve the flow of momentum and a cohesive center within the separation, to build a closed, centripetal small world with rich connotations, to place infinite space within a limited space, to increase the level of scenery, to merge the building with the environment, to express the character of the characters through the environmental atmosphere, and to make the Grand View Garden landscape in "Dream of Red Mansions" reappear on earth.
