Ishigaki Island, Okinawa. "Statue and Monument of Oyake Akahachi"

This is the statue and monument of Oyake Akahachi, a local hero who stood up against the Ryukyu Dynasty over 500 years ago.

Surrounding the statue of Oyake Akahachi are the Oishi Utaki (Uinuon), the Fire God Utaki (Pinakan-on), the Kuroishi Utaki (Kuruseon), and the Sakibaru Utaki (Sakibaruon).

Sakibaru Park is also located nearby, and the tropical plants and flowers that are cared for by the locals were blooming beautifully😊
