[Okinawa Tourism] Historical sites with a sad history

Located at the southern tip of Ishigaki Island, this historic site overlooks the sea and is a place of hope for peace.

A grave erected in 1971 to commemorate the Chinese laborers who were killed in the Robert Bowne Incident in 1852.

It looks colorful, but upon investigation, it turns out to be a grave with a sad history. 🥺

Unfortunately, I couldn't get up close and see it because it was under construction.
