A traditional Turkish alley cafe

#OverseasTravel

This is a place I really like.

While traveling in Istanbul, a local recommended it to me.

It's a small but delicious Turkish coffee shop specializing in sandwich coffee!

I'm usually used to European espresso Americanos,

but this time, since I was also traveling in Turkey, I decided to try Turkish coffee.

Turkish coffee is brewed in-house, without a filter, and is strong!

It's small, but the aroma is incredibly deep, and the flavor is palpable.

This place is especially great, located between Istanbul's New City and the Galata Tower. It's also conveniently located on Istiklal Street, often called the "Myeongdong" of Turkey.

And this is a famous coffee shop among Istanbul locals.

Cafe Name: Mandabatmaz
Location:
Asmalı Mescit, Olivya Gç. 1/A, 34430 Beyoğlu/İstanbul
