Istanbul... is the most populous city in Turkey and Europe. It is a center of trade and diverse cultures. 🧮🗺 Amidst the chaos of this big city, there are still many old and quiet neighborhoods hidden. One of them is the "Balat" neighborhood.

Balat is an old Jewish neighborhood. The charm of this place is the atmosphere and the preservation of the uniqueness of the residences as in the past. Colorful houses are built tightly together. Located on a steep hill, it's like traveling through time to walk in the city of sweets. 🍭

There is a small cafe that uses old houses that are over a hundred years old to welcome tourists and is a source of income for people in the community. We can take a boat from Karakoy to the Golden Horn and get off here. It takes only a few minutes to arrive. 🛥⚓️
