Roadside Station Grand Palport: The famous ruins of "Saikoen"

Izu Granpal Park
Roadside station Granpal Port and the ruins of Saikoen

A roadside station adjacent to a large amusement park.

There are foot baths and souvenir shops with a variety of food.

Nearby are the ruins of Saikoen, which is irresistible for fans.

Saikoen (a restaurant) was featured in 1980 for its unique building, but it was no longer in use around 2004 and is now a ruin, with the rear of the building being used as a parking lot.

You cannot enter the building, but you can see a little from the window.

The "Primitive Art Museum," which was in the same building, has some of the exhibits and explanatory signs left as they are, giving it a nice atmosphere.
