🚄From Tokyo, take the Shinkansen to Izu, which takes about two hours.

From Tokyo Station or Shinagawa Station, take the Shinkansen to Atami. Then transfer to the JR Ito Line to Izu-Kitagawa.

The one-way fare is around 5000 yen. Be sure to check train schedules.it's easy to miss an express train.

The local train takes over three hours. After arriving in Izu-Kitagawa, call the hotel for a shuttle. The ride takes about ten minutes. The hotel is located on a mountain.

🌅The sunset in Izu is particularly early in winter, around 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM.
