Nagaoka Fireworks Festival, a must-see for Japanese people in their lifetime🎆

📌Shooting location selection: Give priority to places close to fireworks, and make sure there are street lights or other similar auxiliary light sources. If you are too far away from the fireworks, the proportion between the person and the fireworks may be unbalanced. The lack of natural auxiliary light source will also make autofocus difficult, thus affecting the clarity of the person. If conditions are limited, try to choose a shooting position closer to the fireworks.

📷Camera settings: In order to capture people's movements, the shutter speed cannot be too slow; at the same time, the focus needs to be switched quickly, so the autofocus function is crucial. The ISO should be manually adjusted as high as possible (but to avoid excessive noise), and the aperture should be set to a level that makes the background slightly blurred. It is recommended to set the shutter speed and focus to automatic. Taking the 33mm f/1.4 lens I use as an example, the ISO is usually set to 3200, the aperture size is between f/4 and f/5.6, and the shutter speed is generally not less than 1/3 second. When shooting, you can switch the focus between people and fireworks to create different effects.
