Family Adventure in Japan with Kids

Japan turned out to be the perfect family destination—safe, easy to explore, and full of unforgettable experiences for both kids and adults.

🏙 Tokyo with Kids

Our first stop was Tokyo, and it was pure magic for the kids.

✴️DisneySea & Disneyland – easily the highlight, with shows and rides for all ages.

✴️TeamLab Borderless – an interactive art museum where kids could touch, jump, and play inside glowing rooms of light and water.

✴️Exploring the city – just walking around, visiting shops, and trying new restaurants was an adventure in itself.

We stayed at Shinagawa Prince Hotel, which was very convenient for families.

🎢 Osaka with Kids

Osaka brought so much excitement and fun.

✴️Universal Studios Japan – Super Nintendo World was a dream for the kids (and us too!).

✴️Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan – massive tanks and whale sharks that kept the kids mesmerized.

✴️Dotonbori Street Food – safe, tasty, and fun. The kids tried takoyaki and gyoza for the first time.

We stayed at RIHGA Royal Hotel Osaka, Vignette Collection by IHG, which offered great comfort and location.

🌿 Kyoto with Kids

Kyoto was where tradition met adventure for us.

✴️Kiyomizu-dera Temple – peaceful, cultural, with stunning views of the city.

✴️Nijo Castle – a beautiful glimpse into Japan’s history.

✴️Hop-On Hop-Off Bus – highly recommended, it made getting to temples and landmarks so easy.

✴️Kibune River – our favorite spot, where we enjoyed nature and serenity together as a family.

We stayed at Yoin Hotel Kyoto Gion, a charming place in the heart of Kyoto.
