Jeju Stone Museum

Jeju Stone Culture Park, located in Jochon-eup, Jeju-si, Jeju, is a museum and ecological park where you can comprehensively experience Jeju's unique stone culture. This is a space where Jeju's myths, nature, and human life are in harmony, leaving a deep impression on visitors. 

🪨 A space where nature and myths come together

Jeju Stone Culture Park is built on a site of about 1 million pyeong, and various exhibitions and sculptures are arranged around the legend of Seolmundae Halmang, the goddess of creation of Jeju, and her 500 sons. In particular, the Sky Pond is an artificial pond that symbolizes the legend of Seolmundae Halmang dying after being stabbed with a stick, leaving a deep impression on visitors.  

🏛️ Stone Museum and Exhibition Hall

The Stone Museum in the park exhibits various volcanic rocks and natural stones, including the formation process of Jeju. The first basement floor houses the Formation Exhibition Hall and the Natural Stone Exhibition Hall, and the second basement floor houses a storage facility, allowing visitors to gain a deeper understanding of Jeju's geological characteristics. 

🏘️ Jeju Traditional Thatched Village and Outdoor Exhibition Hall

A traditional Jeju thatched village is recreated in the park, allowing you to get a glimpse of Jeju's old lifestyle. In addition, the outdoor exhibition hall displays various stone sculptures such as Dolhareubang, Bangsap, Jeongjuseok, and Dongjaseok, allowing you to experience Jeju's stone culture firsthand.

• Operating Hours: 09:00 ~ 18:00 every day (ticket sales close at 17:00)
• Closed: Every Monday, January 1, Lunar New Year's Day and Chuseok
• Admission: Adults 5,000 won, Youths and Military Police 3
