Jeju Yerae Ecological Park 🌸 Latest cherry blossom viewing

Those of you who are planning to go to Jeju Island to see the cherry blossoms recently, please take a look! I just came back from Seogwipo, Jeju Island, and I would like to share with you the current status of the cherry blossoms in Yelai Ecological Park.

I chose to go to Jeju during this period just to avoid the crowds of cherry blossom viewing. I arrived in Seogwipo yesterday and planned to spend two days relaxing here, so I made Yerae Ecological Park (제주 서귀포시 상예동 5002-26) my first stop for cherry blossom viewing.

After breakfast, I headed to the park. The sky was gloomy and there was drizzling that day, but this added a unique charm to the cherry blossom viewing. Less than half of the cherry blossoms in the park are in bloom. The front half has more blossoms and the flowers are fuller, while the flowers become sparser as you go further back. But when you reach the end of the garden, you will encounter a forest of cherry blossoms in full bloom, which is like a paradise and so beautiful that it takes your breath away.

Perhaps because of the bad weather, there were very few people in the garden and a cool atmosphere filled the air. The cherry blossoms here are less cute and playful, and more fragile and charming, which appeals to my aesthetic taste even more.

According to the weather forecast, the temperature will drop significantly in the future, and the cherry blossoms are expected to reach their peak bloom this weekend or next week. The small number of people really improved the cherry blossom viewing experience significantly. Even though I got a headache from the rain, I still felt happy.

Friends who want to enjoy cherry blossoms during off-peak hours can seize the next opportunity to go to Nie Lai Ecological Park to encounter the romantic cherry forest.
