King Gwanggaeto of Goguryeo, who greatly expanded the territory of Goguryeo and ushered in its golden age by embracing neighboring states and tribes such as Malgal and Khitan, is commemorated through his tomb, known as the Tomb of King Gwanggaeto, and a large stele called the Gwanggaeto Stele. This stele serves as a valuable resource for studying the history of Goguryeo.
