Jiayuguan- The Great Wall of China!🇨🇳

Getting There - Upon arrival at Jiayuguan station hire a didi or driver to take you to this site on the outskirts of the city

Attractions - The Jiayuguan Eastern most section of
the Great Wall. This is different to other sections of the Great Wall, as instead of being built of stone and bricks, it’s made of rammed Earth giving it the yellow colour!
There is a small entrance fee to enter, it takes
about 30 minutes to walk up and down this section. There are also other
There is also a Jiayuguan pass and guard tower that can be visited within the same day (estimated 2-3 hours)

Hotels - we stayed at the Jiayuguan hotel which is
basic but the location is good.

Food & Restaurants - Wumai'er beef noodles, and
stayin cafe were some of our favourites.

2 days and one night here is plenty, food options are
fairly limited. However Alipay bikes and ebikes can be rented easily to travel around the city.
