II. Daily Itinerary

Day 1

• Morning: Arrive in Jieyang and head to Jieyang Tower Square to experience the city's rich history. No ticket is required. Enjoy the magnificent city tower architecture in the square and take some great photos.

• Noon: Find a small restaurant nearby and try the authentic Jieyang rice rolls, which cost about CNY 8-15 per serving and are delicious and filling.

• Afternoon: Walk to Rongjiang West Lake Park, which is free to enter. You can stroll along the lake, enjoy the beautiful scenery, and visit the zoo in the park (tickets are cheap, about CNY 10-20). You can also go boating, which costs CNY 30-50 per hour per boat. It's a great way to relax with friends. Then, head to Jinxian Gate and climb the city tower (tickets cost about CNY 5) to enjoy a bird's-eye view of the old city.

• Evening: Visit Arcade Old Street, where you can find a variety of local snacks. Try a serving of licorice fruit (CNY 10-20 per serving, priced according to the type and quantity of fruit) and a bowl of sweet soup (CNY 5-10). Enjoy the street food and the bustling atmosphere of the old street, and pick up some unique souvenirs. We recommend staying at a homestay near the old street, which is affordable (CNY 100-200 per night) and convenient for getting around.

Day 2

• Morning: Head to Huangqi Mountain Forest Park, which is free to enter. Breathe in the fresh air and hike along the mountain trails to enjoy the natural scenery while getting some exercise. The Qishan Tower on the mountain is also a unique sight and does not require an additional ticket.

• Noon: Try the Jieyang specialty fried rice cakes at a restaurant at the foot of the mountain. The average cost is CNY 20-30 per person, which is affordable.

• Afternoon: Visit Jieyang Confucius Temple, where you can experience a rich cultural atmosphere. Tickets cost about CNY 10. The ancient architecture of the Confucius Temple is perfect for taking photos. Then, walk to the City God Temple to learn about local folk culture. Admission is free, and you can also get a peace charm (prices vary, but it's the thought that counts).

• Evening: Have a simple dinner at a nearby night market, such as various barbecues and fried skewers, which cost about CNY 30-50 per person. Then, return to the hotel to rest.

Day 3

• Morning: Head to Wangtian Lake Ecotourism Resort. Book tickets online in advance (cheaper than buying on-site, about CNY 80-100). You can see a variety of rare plants and animals and enjoy the amusement facilities (amusement rides are charged separately, and you can choose according to your preferences).

• Noon: Have a simple meal at a restaurant in the scenic area, which costs about CNY 30-40 per person.

• Afternoon: Continue to enjoy the scenic area, then prepare to return home and end your pleasant trip to Jieyang.

III. Transportation Guide

Transportation in Jieyang is convenient. Most buses cost CNY 2 per ride, and some attractions are within walking distance. If you need to go to a distant place, such as Wangtian Lake, you can take a taxi or a direct bus to the scenic area (check the schedule and ticket prices online in advance), which is more cost-effective than taking a taxi alone.

IV. Money-Saving Tips

1. Book attraction tickets and hotels online in advance, as many platforms offer discounts.

2. Choose street food stalls and night markets for meals, which are not only cheap but also offer authentic local food.

3. Use buses and walk whenever possible to reduce taxi costs.

4. Buy local specialties at local markets, which are much cheaper than those in scenic areas and shopping streets.

Follow this guide to enjoy a fun and affordable 3D2N trip to Jieyang and experience the unique charm of this city!
