Previously stayed in their Prestige Deluxe Suite with kids—great views, satisfying hardware and software. The 51st floor has a kids' club with dedicated staff. The executive lounge offers limited dishes but meets basic needs. Parking requires three elevator transfers to reach rooms, slightly tedious but acceptable.

1. As a new hotel opened in 2021, rooms have mid-sized TVs supporting screen mirroring and USB playback—perfect for binge-watching.
2. Bathtub angles aren’t ideal, but the room TV is visible, a small plus.
3. Afternoon tea (14:30–16:30) on the 70th executive floor falls short compared to Swissôtel Shenyang in pastry quality—not my preference.
4. The 51st-floor scenic heated pool is compact but pristine; water feels cool initially (1.5m depth), ideal for adults. Same floor has a gym, yoga room, and spa.
5. Happy Hour (18:00–20:00) on the executive floor outshines Dalian New World Hotel in variety. Sipping drinks while watching sunset to city lights is delightful.
6. English breakfast at Cloud 51 Restaurant rivals Shenzhen Shangri-La’s Western spread from years ago. Chinese dishes are average, but ice cream surprises—strawberry and chocolate flavors top Häagen-Dazs for me.

**Verdict**: Jinan Kempinski, a luxury 2021 newcomer, impresses with aesthetics and modern amenities. Standouts include rich Happy Hour, breakfast ice cream, and adult-friendly pool, plus kid-friendly perks. Minor downsides like limited lounge dishes and parking logistics don’t overshadow its quality—ideal for first-time Jinan visitors seeking comfort.
