Jingdezhen, the Porcelain Capital, off-the-beaten-path experiences in this article

Autumn quietly arrives this October,
with a touch of cool air,
I came to this artistic small city,
Jingdezhen, named after its porcelain.

There’s so much fun to have in Jingdezhen,
endless porcelain to see,
wild nature to enjoy,
artistic vibes in the fields,
fun handmade crafts,
everyone can find their favorite side here.

🌟Activities:
✨Imperial Kiln Museum: A super popular and trendy museum recently, with red buildings modeled after imperial kilns, very stylish, many spots have become iconic photo locations.
✨Handcrafting: Jingdezhen is truly a paradise for craft lovers, with many hands-on experiences to choose from. Nana picked coloring, which was super fun, looking forward to the finished product~
✨Markets: If you love treasure hunting, you must visit the various markets. No exaggeration, there’s a market on almost every street corner. Taoxichuan focuses on original creations, while Taoyang New Village offers great value.
✨Old Factory Village: The most authentic handmade village, every few steps you’ll see different artisans. Ceramic production involves many steps, and in Old Factory Village, you can find a complete production chain.
✨Yaoli Ancient Town: An ancient village near Jingdezhen, featuring a popular ancient bridge. The traditional architecture and village atmosphere here are very authentic, strolling around makes time feel slower.
✨Hanxi Village: A tea garden with a trendy installation. In an artsy coffee shop, find a window framing the entire tea garden—perfect for photos!
✨Wanghu: If you come during the rainy season, you can see a spectacular large waterfall. It’s a summer resort, great for waterfall and water play, a very natural and refreshing place.

🚘Transportation: Direct from Shanghai to Jingdezhen by Gaode takes just over 3 hours, very convenient. Consider driving around nearby areas.
🍲Food: Jingdezhen has so much delicious food, from Jiangxi rice noodles to various stir-fries, truly a paradise for spice lovers!
📌Suggestion: Spend 3-4 days here, explore the surroundings, and reserve half a day for handcrafting as it takes quite some time.
