Starlight Hotel 49th Floor｜Overlooking the City Lights, Enjoying the Sunset Together

The Jinglan Starlight Hotel (Starlight Night Market Branch) is located at the highest point of Peacock City, a landmark building in Xishuangbanna. The hotel front desk is on the 49th floor, with warm and attentive staff providing quick and efficient check-in and check-out services.

Our room was on the 43rd floor, offering a panoramic view of the entire Gaozhuang area, the Lancang River, and the bustling Starlight Night Market. The room was spacious and bright, decorated with a blend of Dai and Thai cultural elements and modern style, equipped with L’Occitane toiletries, a large bathtub, and soft, clean bedding, creating a very cozy atmosphere.

The buffet breakfast is served at the Paya Restaurant on the 49th floor, with an unbeatable 360° panoramic view. The breakfast includes everything from Chinese morning dishes, bread, and fruit to ethnic specialty dishes. The Yunnan-style rice noodles are a must-try breakfast item. Dining or having afternoon tea here offers a full view of the cityscape.

The infinity pool on the 50th floor, Cloud Top, is truly exceptional, with the city skyline right at the end of the swimming lane. It’s perfect for capturing beautiful sunset photos in the evening! You can also rent local ethnic costumes for even more stunning photos.
