Hey guys! Who says Guangxi only has Guilin? Baise, this frontier town, is the real hidden champion! If you want to avoid crowds during summer vacation and plan a family trip, Baise is absolutely the top-tier choice! Packed with pristine natural beauty, and the best part—no! queues! No more talking, here's the guide thrown right at you!
📍Attraction Addresses:
Baise is located in the western part of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. 🚗Transportation:
- External Transport: You can first fly to Nanning Wuxu International Airport, then take a high-speed train from Nanning to Baise Station, which takes about 1 hour. You can also take a bus directly, but it takes longer.

- Sandie Ridge Waterfall: A 100-meter-high waterfall cascading down from the three-tiered cliff, with roaring water that’s incredibly awe-inspiring—a natural "white noise" paradise.
- E'quan Scenic Area: The source of Detian Waterfall! In the evening, paddle a bamboo raft while watching the sunset reflect on the water, then slurp a bowl of local rice noodles—this is what a vacation should be like!
- Quyang Lake Scenic Area: "Guilin on Water" lives up to its name! Dozens of islands dot the lake, and Zhuang villages hide among the emerald bamboo—every shot is a picturesque masterpiece.
- Longkalai: Guangxi's "Little Xinjiang"! A hidden paradise deep in the mountains, complete with grasslands, streams, and wooden cabins—it’s like teleporting to Altay in minutes!

Gulong Canyon ticket + rafting combo is about 200 RMB; Sandie Ridge Waterfall is free; E'quan Scenic Area ticket is around 40 RMB; Quyang Lake boat tour costs about 50 RMB/person; Longkalai is currently free.
💗Other Tips:
1. Road Conditions: Some sections have many curves—drive slow! slow! slow! Motion-sickness-prone folks, bring your meds.
2. Outfit Suggestions: Most attractions feature landscapes—bright-colored clothes make for eye-catching photos; for rafting, bring a change of clothes and a waterproof phone case.
3. Food Recommendations: Baise sour snacks, rolled rice noodles, grilled pig eyes (dare to try?), and street-side stalls—all are absolutely delicious!
4. Safety First: Canyons and waterfalls can be slippery—parents, hold onto your little adventurers tight!
Folks! This wave of hidden beauty is a must-visit! The charm of Baise is something you’ll only understand once you’re there!
