The Cultural Gem of Jingzhou Ancient City

#favouriteitinerary
A while ago, I explored Jingzhou Ancient City, with its rich 2,600-year history. Once known as Jiangling, it's the birthplace of Chu culture and a key hub of the Three Kingdoms culture.

Wandering through the well-preserved ancient buildings and city walls was fascinating. The Jingzhou Museum, though low-profile, housed exquisite relics from the Warring States period and the famous Western Han Dynasty wet mummy of Marquess Sui. The Chu King's Chariot and Horse Burial Site was another captivating highlight.

The free entry and smaller attraction fees made the visit convenient. Jingzhou Ancient City's historical depth and vibrant culture left a lasting impression. I highly recommend a visit to experience its unique charm.
