🌟Highlights: The Qujialing culture, named after the Qujialing site where it was first discovered in Jingshan, Hubei, was primarily centered around the middle and lower reaches of the Han River. Its distribution extended north to the southern foothills of the Funiu Mountains in southwestern Henan, south across the Yangtze River to the area around Dongting Lake in northern Hunan, west to the Three Gorges region and the Wushan area in eastern Sichuan, and east to the Huangpi, Ezhou, and Qichun line in eastern Hubei.
The Qujialing culture developed from the Youziling culture. At its peak, the Qujialing culture unified the Jianghan Plain and advanced into the Central Plains, approaching the Guanzhong area with unstoppable momentum, writing a glorious chapter in China's Neolithic history. During this rapid expansion, the Qujialing people moved westward, replacing the Daxi culture.
📌Tips: There is a parking lot at the Jingzhou Museum.
